Anxiety Disorder
Unrelenting and excessive worrying that can be both repetitive and disruptive. This is the simplest definition for generalized anxiety disorder, a psychological problem that affects millions of people worldwide. Generalized anxiety disorder is more frequent in the 20 to 30 group age, although this is not a rule. However, the number of children and teenagers suffering from the condition is pretty high too. An important aspect here is that generalized anxiety disorder does not start abruptly in older age, it normally progresses from less serious forms until it reaches maximum intensity. Regular worries don’t represent symptoms of this disorder as they are part of normal daily life. Seattle HCG Diet & Weight Loss.
People who suffer from generalized anxiety disorder usually lead normal lives, but they are full of exaggerated tension and dread all the time even when there is nothing to cause their worrying. Nevertheless, the intensity of the psychological and physiological symptoms could interfere with normal tasks specific to work and household activities. Drugs are often prescribed for symptom management, but there are many forms of treatment aiming at generalized anxiety disorder. If you rely only on medication, chances are that you’ll suffer from side effects and when you discontinue the treatment the panic attacks will start all over again. Psychotherapy should improve the condition of a patient’s generalized anxiety disorder, on the one condition that he/she be an active participant to the treatment. Therapy, regardless of its nature, ought to teach people how to self-soothe and eliminate the thoughts that keep the constant tension in their bodies and minds. Meditation, breathing techniques, positive thinking, hobbies, yoga, neuro-linguistic programing and so reduce the level of anxiety if practice correctly and steadily. It is also good to know that the symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder are more intense during certain moments of the day or on some days of the week. People suffering from generalized anxiety disorder have all the chances of recovery if the right treatment or approach to the ailment is taken. However, the vicious circle cannot be broken for years sometimes, either because therapy is incorrectly chosen or because learned techniques are difficult to put into practice. Therefore, individual factors such as self-awareness, perseverance and determination in finding a treatment will normally contribute to the mental health condition.

Top Ten Reasons For Adrenal & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Major psycho-social activities that obstruct adrenal function and physical regeneration.
Over time, life events whether acute or prolonged can wear on the energy reserves of the human body. The kidneys and adrenals need to recover. Either a person is able to support that process or they become involved in these activities:
- Working too much: Due to insecurity whether it’s boss sponsored or yourself, the end result is you go too hard and long beyond your adrenal’s reserves. Your boss can be asking for too much and you may be a willing participant or not but you still go on. You need to honor your needs. The job or others will not. Its time, to take care of yourself. Now, is an opportunity to learn to recognize when you are approaching your exhaustive boundaries.
- Incongruence: Personal dishonoring. You say no when you mean to say yes and you say yes when you mean no. This can involve work, friends, community and family. This opposing inner dialogue develops into an intra-psychic conflict and persoanl revulsion. You need to slow down until can hear your voice or higher consult clearly. After that, learn to work with your truth rather than move based on other’s expectations.
- Over-indulgence: Excessive occupation with anything such as food, drug, sport, etc. can result in an imbalance where your primary needs are neglected. Sleep can be interrupted if your belly is too full, prevents laying down and raises blood sugar where you remain in a wakeful state. Sports can be practiced or played exceeding body limits where one’s reserve and immunity are broken down. Sports are OK but there needs to be a steady buildup, not an all out blast of epinephrine, to the point of exhaustion. Consider Tai Chi, Qi gong and Yoga which builds energy rather than depletes it.
- Harassment: Whether it’s a personal relationship work relationship or neighbor, this can be very disturbing. When insomnia is the norm then it would be advisable to re-assess the need for the relationship or determine strategies for fixing the relationship. Working with a counselor, psychotherapist or Spiritual Life Coach can be very beneficial in resolving this concern.
- Menopause and Andropause: The liver in the body can become excessively warm due to toxicity. Body heat rises up and body cold lowers down. When liver heat rises, the waves to varying degrees heat up everything up through to the head. At night, the heat causes sweating, keeps us alert, excess thinking, avoidance of deep level (REM) sleep, etc. When you cool the liver with diet and Chinese herbs, this aspect is removed from the equation.

If You Had An Anxiety Disorder, Would You Realise?
Panic and anxiety attacks are on the increase. Who knows whether it’s our modern more stressful way of life or not. No matter the cause, they are increasing and causing more people more problems than ever.
Could you spot if you were having a panic or anxiety attack? That’s a difficult question to answer as the symptoms are quite wide ranging and can vary from mild to the downright frightening. You may just experience a hot sweat or you may experience an attack where you can’t breath and your heart races out of control.
I think if you were having the more serious symptoms you would know you needed some type of help. But you could also be having mild symptoms and not even know it’s an anxiety related attack. This could be a warning sign that things are about to get worse, much worse.
My wife suffered a bad panic attack while she was out driving our car. Needless to say it wasn’t just the actual anxiety attack that frightened her but the fact she could have crashed and killed herself and others. This scenario just doesn’t bear thinking about.
If you haven’t been feeling yourself lately, maybe you’ve had one or two of these symptoms… Difficulty sleeping, a bit on edge or anxious, can’t concentrate, constantly irritated or fidgeting a lot. Having any of these mild symptoms could be a warning sign.
But before you actually have a panic attack thinking about those symptoms let me put your mind at ease. There are many normal things that can cause symptoms like those. And you shouldn’t worry about them. Lack of sleep may just be too much caffeine. Fidgeting may be uncomfortable clothing.
If you would rather be safe than sorry you can find out if you are heading for anxiety attacks. You can take an anxiety symptoms test which may give you a better idea. The test involves answering yes or no to a few questions and adding your score up at the end.
You can then make a better informed decision to seek out further help or not. There’s an anxiety (panic) symptoms test here.
